Making of the Sword for Ball Jointed Doll - MSD size

Sit Nomen Domini Benedictum...Greeting dear visitors,

today I am proudly to  present the Handmade

Sword which I made for my little sister

Marianne.

By the way, this new finest project was inspired by my most

favorite Japanese animation Le Chevalier D’Eon,

the sword of D’Eon de Beaumont. 

Tools 

There are consist of 8 tools as followed 

-Plastic Toy Sword

-Cutting Pincers

-Scissors

-Cutter

-Rasp

-Ruler

-Thinner

-Tamiya Finishing Abrasives (Sandpaper)

Process

1. The Original sword was the claymore type which had

dull shape, dirty color and full of scratches.

2. First, using thinner to erase out color

then sanding with sandpapers.

3. After sanding for one hour, it was a time

to begin drafting and cutting process.

4. Using rasp to enhance more details.

5. Sanding again for 4 hours.

6. Carving winged shape handle, the hardest part.

7. Finally, attaching the cross to the handle.

The sword is perfectly complete.
