Introduction of my favorite animation
Le Chevalier D’Eon was the Japanese animation making
by Production I.G. ( http://www.productionig.com/ ) which
used to created many popular animations such as
Ghost in the shell, xxxHOLIC, Blood+, etc.
The story took place in Paris, the capital
city of France during 18th century
( Pre-revolution ). At that time,
Louise XV the king who ruled
the country had brought
glorious life to his people.
However, among the wealthy and beautiful city, there were continual
crimes of abducing many women. One day, a brown coffin had
floated along the river of Paris. People who
wonderingly saw it gathered together
and then decided to open the cover.
Sadness and tears appeared on
everyone’s face when they
saw a corpse of mysterious
beautiful noble woman in
red dress lying inside.
Meanwhile, D’Eon de Beaumont, the young knight who was
investigating the case of women abduction, felt fully and
sadly when found that the dead woman was his
beloved elder sister, Lia. After the incident
D’Eon continued to investigate the case,
he was thus sure that it had some
involvement in the death of
his beloved sister.
The intention for seeking the truth would then lead D’Eon to discover
the dark side of France and its Royal Family. Later on,
he and his comrades have to journey to Russia
and England to bring back the royal psalms
this case would change D’Eon’s life forever...
Le Chevalier D’Eon would perhaps be on of the finest historical
animation that ever made. The places and main characters
would base on the true story. The graphics, story lines
and dialogues would also be outstanding. Hence
I would like to invite you to watch this
master piece animation.

Greeting to all visitors, today I would like to present a special review
about the historical animation which made by studio Production I.G.
from Japan. Le Chevalier D’Eon Pack Set, Thai version was brought
to Thailand by Rose Media and Entertainment Co.,Ltd.
It was released on November 19, 2008.

เฉพาะกิจว่าด้วยอนิเมชั่นอิงประวัติศาสตร์จากผลงานการสร้างของ
สตูดิโอโปรดักซ์ชั่น ไอ.จี. (Production I.G.) จากประเทศญี่ปุ่น
อัศวินสีเลือด (Le Chevalier D’Eon) ดีวีดีชุดพิเศษ

Firstly, I admire the marvelous package’s design which is exactly
the same as the original Japanese version but Thai version
has thicker shape because it is the completed pack set.
Furthermore, the package also looks similar to
a holy book in the animation.
แรกเริ่มต้องขอชมว่าบรรจุภัณฑ์ทำออกมาได้สวยงามถอดแบบจาก
ปกต้นฉบับของทางญี่ปุ่นได้อย่างไม่ผิดเพี้ยนแต่ทั้งนี้จะมีความ
หนามากกว่าอันเนื่องจากเป็นดีวีดีแบบชุด ส่วนรูปลักษณ์นั้น
จงใจทำออกมาให้เหมือนกับหนังสือที่ปรากฏอยู่ภายในเรื่อง
In my point of view, I instantly had admiration at the first time I saw
DVD package on the released date. To tell the truth, my hope on
DVD cartoon animation products of the above mentioned
company is almost transparent. Judging from earlier
released, their packages have no attraction to
buy at all. For example; Sergeant Keroro,
Suzumiya Haruhi, Naruto and so on.
Even though they seemed to be
unsatisfied, I still bought them (HA).
โดยส่วนตัวแล้วข้าพเจ้ามีความประทับใจเมื่อได้เห็นสินค้าจริง
ออกวางจำหน่ายแต่ยอมรับว่ามิได้คาดหวังว่าจักทำออกมาดี
เพราะกล่องบรรจุดีวีดีการ์ตูนเรื่องอื่นๆของบริษัทดังกล่าว
ซึ่งเคยทำออกมาก่อนหน้านี้ส่วนมากแล้วไม่เป็นที่ต้องตา
ต้องใจของข้าพเจ้าเท่าใดนัก อาทิเช่น เคโรโระ, ฮารุฮิ,
นารูโตะ เป็นต้น แต่ทว่าก็ยังคงซื้อเก็บอยู่ดี (ฮา)
The cover was a magnet to attach the open-close box.
Inside of it shows beautiful classic rococo patterns.
In the other hand, I have a complain about
some traces in upper area of the inner box.
I assume that they might happen
during packing process.
ฝากล่องผนึกด้วยแม่เหล็กเป็นตัวเปิด-ปิด เมื่อเปิดออกมาก็พัน
ประจักษ์กับลวดลายโบราณวิจิตรแลดูสวยงาม แต่มีข้อติง
ถึงรอยยับซึ่งคาดว่าอาจเกิดขึ้นในกระบวนการบรรจุ
The package contains 6 DVDs; they have such a fine screen including
6 colorful character artwork postcards. However, I feel a bit
disappointment because there are no booklets
likes the foreign versions.
กล่องชั้นในบรรจุแผ่นดีวีดีจำนวน 6 แผ่น สกรีนหลากสีวิไลแท้
แถมโปสการ์ดอาร์ตเวิร์คสีสวยสด 6 ใบ แต่ถึงอย่างไรก็ดีข้าพเจ้า
รู้สึกผิดหวังเล็กน้อยที่ไม่มีบุ๊คเล็ดแถมมาให้เฉกเช่น
อย่างของบรรจุภัณฑ์ของต่างประเทศ
Nevertheless, the above statement is just my opinion only.

Here comes to the judgment on the present product.
Picture quality: 4/5
If you look to animations closely, you will see a little bit of dots.
Thai Sound: 4/5
Thai translation and the script was well prepared. About casting,
the narrators’ voices corresponded to Characters
(I like D’Eon and Lia voices mostly). I minus
one point because the narrator dubed over
the script in some emotional scenes.
As a result, the scene’s atmosphere
was destroyed. But In overall,
Thai narrator team
did good job.
Japanese Sound: 5/5
I have no doubt on outstanding performance of
Japanese narrator team.
Package: 4/5
It is outstanding with valuation. I minus one point because
there are some traces in an inner box.
Durability: 3/5
The package is made from hard paper but the Inner box
is too soft. They have chances that scratches
may easily appear.
Break even: 5/5
The price is acceptable. 6 DVDs Pack set
is worthwhile to buy
*Synopsis rate: 4/5
The one who likes historical action-drama animation
with interesting complex story line, this Le Chevalier D’Eon
is such a magnificent choice to buy.

นอกบทส่งผลทำให้เสียบรรยากาศ
ในฉากที่ต้องการสื่อถึงอารมณ์
แต่โดยภาพรวมแล้วถือว่า
ทีมพากย์ทำหน้าที่ได้ดี

ไม่มีข้อโต้แย้งถึงความสามารถอันยอดเยี่ยม
