What's BJD? 

Prelude to Ball-Jointed Doll

Ball ointed Doll (BJD) is articulated with ball and socket joints

referring to modern doll which casts in polyurethane resin,

a hard and dense plastic. Parts strung together with

a thick elastic. Therefore they are manufactured

originally in Japan then South Korea and China.

 

Ball-Jointed Doll' design is both realistic and influenced by

Japanese animation with large heads and big eyes.

They have range in size from 60 cm,

40 cm, 10 cm or so.
